She grew up on the family farm north of Wibaux.  Sandy attended Hay Creek Country School and later Wibaux County High School, graduating in 1973. Sandy spent most of her career working at the Wibaux County Nursing Home. She was the business manager until her retirement in 2013. In later years, Sandy’s struggle with Parkinson’s became more of a challenge. Sandy enjoyed sewing and mending. Flowers were her passion. She also loved family gatherings, especially during the holidays. Sandy enjoyed following her children’s sporting events and school activities. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
