A funeral service for Sandra “Sandy” Miller, 54, of Dickinson, will be 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Pastor James Hessler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Sandra passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at her home. Sandra Lynn Jepson was born on March 27, 1961 in Sparta, WI, the daughter of Harold and Clara (Hanssen) Jepson. She moved with her family to Dickinson, attending grade school and later graduating from Dickinson High School in 1979. After school she worked at DCI Credit Services. It was during this time that she met Lauren Miller. The couple moved to Sacramento where they made their home. They were blessed with a son, Matthew. Sandy worked with Lauren, as a bookkeeper, at Bay Shore Fencing. After Lauren passed away, due to cancer, Sandy and Matthew moved back to Dickinson to live with her sister, Nancy. Sandy loved to cook for her family and enjoyed watching the cooking channel. Her kitties always had a special place in her heart. She was an avid Vikings fan, rarely missing a game, even while living in CA. She was always young at heart; sharing Matthew’s taste of modern music and finding her own clothing style. Sandy is survived by her son, Matthew; sister, Nancy Jepson, Dickinson; special friend, Kevin Rohr, Dickinson; brother-in-law, Steve Sitter, Bismarck; nephews, Corey Steckler and Shawn (Lisa) and son, Ashton Steckler of Bismarck;She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lauren; and sister, Helen Sitter.
