Sandy Dinius

Funeral Services for Sandy Dinius, 56, Gladstone, will be 10:00 a. m. , Friday, November 5, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with Pastor Tim Voth officiating. Burial will follow at the Gladstone City Cemetery, Gladstone, North Dakota. Visitation will be from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Sandy passed away Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson. Sandra Kay Schneider was born January 26, 1954 in Dickinson to Andrew and Selma (Wieglenda) Schneider. She grew up in Gladstone where she attended grade school and later graduated from Dickinson High School. After graduation, Sandy married Les Dinius. Together, they had four children, Troy, Jason, Wyatt and Amy. During the early years, Sandy stayed home to raise her family. They eventually settled in the Taylor area. During this time, Sandy began working as a bartender and gaming at various places in the area. Sandy spent the rest of her life in the Gladstone and Taylor area. Sandy loved spending time outside and working with her flowers. She was active with the Gladstone Boy Scouts and was a CCD teacher. Sandy was very kind and giving to anyone she came in contact with. Sandy is survived by three sons, Troy (Stephanie) Dinius, Dickinson, Jason Dinius, Dickinson, Wyatt (Amy) Dinius, Dickinson; one daughter, Amy (Kirk) Wojahn, Gladstone; three brothers, George (MeiMei) Schneider, Florida, Gary Schneider, Grand Forks and Ron Schneider, Gladstone; three sisters, Kathy Schneider, Carrington, Connie Schneider, Jamestown and Rosie (Ed) Erhardt, Dickinson and six grandsons, Brett, Alec, Max, Issac, Kaden and Seth and a special friend Duane Perfett, Gladstone. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, Andrew and Selma Schneider and one sister, Arlene Schneider.
