Memorial Services for Shirley Joyce Feisthamel, 60 of Baker are 10:00 a. m. , Friday, September 3, 2004 at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Father Thomas Tobin officiating. Interment will be in the Glendive Cemetery at Glendive, MT. Shirley passed away Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Medcenter One, Bismarck, ND. She was born July 5, 1944, the daughter of Allen and Elsie (Anderson) Christensen at Richardton, ND. Shirley grew up and attended schools in the Warner area, graduating from the Warner High School. She attended Dickinson Teachers College where she received her teaching certificate. Shirley moved to Glendive where she began her teaching. Shirley was married to Anthony Feisthamel on December 16, 1966 in Glendive, MT. They remained in Glendive where they raised their three daughters. In 1976 the family moved to Baker where they have made their home since. While working for the Fallon County Health Nurse, Shirley became known as the shot lady to many young children. She enjoyed reading, camping, fishing and especially being with her girls and grandchildren. Her life was surrounded by her love for her children, grandchildren and her husband of 37 years. Survivors include her husband, Tony, Baker; three daughters, Pamela (Alan) Wetstein, Edgar, MT, Tonia Feisthamel and Ginger (Adam) Carpani both of Billings; three grandchildren, Brittany and Karlie Wetstein and Wyatt Carpani; two brothers, Lee (Penny) Christensen, Polson, MT and Alton (Judy) Christensen, Dickinson, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Arlo and Roger. A Memorial has been established to Medcenter One Transplant Center, 300 N 7th ST. , Bismarck, ND 58501
