Funeral services for Sunda Jurgens will be 11 a. m. , Monday, January 15, 2007, at St. John?s Episcopal Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Dr. Bruce Macduffie officiating. Visitation will be 1 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a prayer service at 4 p. m. Visitation will continue Monday at the church one hour prior to the service. Sunda Jurgens, 65, Dickinson passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at her home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer under the care of her family and Heartland Hospice. Sunda Walton was born December 5, 1941 to Robert and Barbara (Feller) Walton in Richardton. She attended school at St. Mary?s in Richardton. On January 17, 1958, Sunda married Dale Jurgens in Richardton. They lived in Billings, MT and Mandan, ND before moving to Dickinson in 1964. Sunda attended Dickinson State College where she worked in the DSC Journalism Department. Throughout the years, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Dickinson Press, Eide-Helmeke and Co. , St. Joseph?s Hospital, Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson, and most recently, Reichert Fisher and Co. and the Stark County Housing Authority before retiring due to her diagnosis of cancer. Sunda enjoyed spending time with her family and many special friends. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and most recently, her two great-grandchildren. Sunda was a wise, witty, humorous and compassionate person. Throughout the years, in addition to always being there for her family and friends, she helped many, many people. Sunda is survived by: her husband Dale, Dickinson; two sons, Dustan (Tammy) Jurgens, Sidney, MT, Cary (Jerri) Jurgens, Mandan, ND; one daughter, Patti (Todd) Burwick, Fargo, ND; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Patty (Ron) Gress, Mansfield, OH, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Edna Jurgens, and one grandson, Jeffrey Dale Jurgens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Heartland Hospice or St. Joseph?s Hospital Oncology Center, 30 7th St. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601; American Lung Association, P. O.
