Sylvia Cole

Visitation for Sylvia J. Cole, 65, of Dickinson is Monday, February 23, 2009 at 10:30 a. m. at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Sylvia passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Sylvia was born May 17, 1943 to Almont and Mary Ann (McMahon) Strand. She grew up and attended rural country school and later went to school in Lisbon. She graduated from high school in 1961. She was then married to Robert Cole on May 28, 1961. To this union two daughters were born: Tamee and Robbie. Sylvia enjoyed horseback riding, sewing, embroidery, singing, and dancing. Due to failing health, she made her home at St. Benedict?s Heath Center for the last seven years. Sylvia loved and enjoyed her daughters and grandchildren very much. She is survived by two daughters: Tamee (John) Ludwick, of Dickinson, Robbie (Rory) Wolter, White Earth, North Dakota; three sisters: Gaylene (Larry) Leonard, Littleton, Colorado, Sandee (Greg) Cote, Monument, Colorado, Lynn (Marty) Lazechko, Black Forest, Colorado; her grandchildren: Bradley, Danyelle, Jamee, Jaycee, Robert (Sara), Brandin (Jonna), Jessica, Nicole, Rhett; and two great-grandchildren: Lane & DeAnna. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Allan Strand; grandparents, Rachel McMahon and Albert & Jane Strand.
