Funeral Services for Tait Louis Teigen, 42 of Capitol, MT will be 11:00 a. m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at the Little Missouri Lutheran Church at Capitol, MT with Fred Lamphere officiating with special music by Janeen Norstegaard. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Little Missouri Lutheran Cemetery at Capitol, MT with Pastor Art Weitschat officiating the Graveside Service. Pallbearers are Thane Thomas, Shane Mulkey, Fred Lamphere, Jeff Matthews, Pete Ferguson, Edward Lemaster, John Pierce and Keith Hendrickson. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p. m. on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Stevenson Funeral Home of Ekalaka, MT. Tait passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at his ranch home south of Capital. Tait Louis Teigen was born May 15, 1964 to Jerry Louis and Virginia ?Ginger? Faye (Migotti) Teigen in Circle, MT. Later that same year, Tait and his family moved to the Teigen Ranch south of Capitol, MT. It was there he grew up and attended the Albion school and later attended Sturgis Brown High School in Sturgis, SD where he graduated in 1982. After graduation, Tait attended the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD. Tait went to work for Geo Resources at Alzada, MT. Later on, he moved to California where he worked in the construction field as a paver operator. Tait moved back to the Capitol area in 1992. In the spring of 1994, he moved to Redding, CA where he worked in construction. In November that same year, Tait moved back to Capitol where he married Michelle Almira Lemaster on December 14, 1994 at the Little Missouri Lutheran Church at Capitol, MT. After their marriage, the young couple made their home at the Jack Teigen Ranch at Capitol. Tait had a special love for his uncle Jack, often thinking of him as his ?second dad?. In the fall of 1995, Tait and Michelle moved to Highmore, SD where he helped his father-in-law on his ranch. Later that winter, Tait and Michelle moved into Belle Fourche where Tait worked various construction jobs as a blade operator, and eventually working for Lynd-Exco. On July 24, 1996, a daughter, Tymber Rose, joined the family. Belle Fourche was home for Tait, Michelle, and Tymber until his father, Jerry became sick with cancer. At that time, the family moved to the Teigen Ranch where Tait lived until his death. Currently he was working for Geo Resources at Alzada. Tait loved the ranch life, and was a member of the Alzada Roping Club. However, his real love was for his ?Little Peanut? or as he referred to her as ?his little Princess?. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Teigen, Camp Crook, SD; his daughter, Tymber Rose Teigen, Camp Crook, SD; two brothers, Ty (Michelle) Teigen and their children Reilly and Madline, Kennewick, WA and Slade (Linda) Teigen and their children Ashley, Shae, Stevie Jo and Tucker, Helena, MT; a sister, Tawny (Jim) Tetrault and their children Tanner, Tee, Tonn and Tallen, St. Onge, SD, his mother, Virginia ?Ginger? Migotti, Spearfish, SD; his Grandmother, Margaret (Ted) Dinnell, Belle Fourche, SD and a very special uncle, Jack Teigen, Capitol, MT. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Teigen and his grandparents, Raymond and Ruth Teigen and John Migotti.
