Tana Johnson

Funeral Mass for Tana Johnson, 50, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Richter celebrating.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19 at Stevenson Funeral Home with rosary & vigil service held at 6:00 p.m.

Tana passed away January 16, 2023 due to a car accident. 

Tana Bosch was born June 18, 1972, the daughter of Jim and Claudia Bosch. She grew up in Dickinson, attending school at St. Patrick’s and graduating from Trinity High School. She attended the University of North Dakota and graduated as a registered nurse at the University of Mary. She moved to Seattle, WA, and worked beside her future husband as a nurse in a mental health facility. The two were married in 2001 and moved back to North Dakota in 2002. To this union her children Jenna, Talon, and Grayson were raised. After moving back to Dickinson, Tana started her job at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a psych nurse. Over the years she also worked in various social work positions. Mental health was her passion. She founded and was the coordinator of the Angel 37 community kitchen in honor of her father. Community was so important to her – she was always helping and paying it forward.

Tana loved singing, was a pianist, and a coffee enthusiast. She was always authentic and honest, had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She loved music, especially her beloved Tigirlily.  Tana had a strong belief in spirituality. Most importantly, Tana’s children were her world.

Tana is survived by her three children, Jenna, Talon, and Grayson; her mother, Claudia Bosch; brother Patrick Bosch; former husband Tim Johnson; Julie Johnson; Birth family in Fargo; soul sister, Kristi Ridl and her children Addisyn and Maiya; and numerous cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Jim Bosch; grandparents – Joe and Georgia Bosch and Sebastian and Elizabeth Wolf.
