Terrance Wolfe

Funeral Service for Terrance “Terry” Wolfe, 85, of Dickinson will be 11:00 am Monday, February 24, 2025 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson with Pastor Lisa Lewton officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Visitation for Terry will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Terry passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.

Terrance Leroy Wolfe was born on March 25, 1939 in Fargo, North Dakota and adopted by Anton L. and Rose L. (Decker) Wolfe. He grew up and attended school in Dickinson. Following school, Terry traveled around the states working on cattle ranches and goat ranches, working for caterers, and other odd jobs. He lived in California, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, and Minnesota before returning to Dickinson, where he made his home. 

Terry was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. 

Terry was an avid reader, and he was especially a fan of history and classic literature. He also enjoyed photography and putting puzzles together. 

Terry is survived by his sister, Renee Paasch; step-brother, Eddie Laches; uncle, Floyd Decker; aunt, Ruth (Ben) Decker; step-brothers-in-law, Billy Powell and Jim Sullivan; and numerous cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Tony Wolfe; a brother-in-law, Dave Paasch; step-father, Pete Laches; and step-sisters, Marybeth Powell, Mable (Don) Walter, Irene (Mike) Messer, and Jeanette Sullivan.
