Terry Kudrna

Funeral Liturgy for Terry Lee Kudrna, 69, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Dickinson, ND, will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND, with a Rosary being held at 1:30 pm.


Terry Lee Kudrna passed away from cancer on August 27, 2019 at his home in Quail Creek, Green Valley, AZ.


Terry was born on December 2, 1949, the son of Laudie J. and Dorothy E. (Kessel) Kudrna in Dickinson, ND.  Terry grew up attending the Catholic schools in Dickinson and completing his B.S. degree in Business at DSU.  Terry was married to Sandra Ehli on July 25, 1970 in Dickinson.  Together they made their home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, working at Harvey’s Resort and Hotel.  He worked as a Food and Beverage supervisor for 34 years.  The most enjoyable part of his job involved tasting wines and building wine lists for all 8 of their restaurants.  He even ventured out and made wine from his favorite grape, Pinot Noir.  Terry and Sandra retired to Quail Creek Resort in Green Valley, AZ in 2005.  He enjoyed Pickle Ball, billiards, hiking, swimming, and his daily 3 mile walks.  He was known for his great smile and his energetic and kindred spirit.


Terry is survived by his wife, Sandra of Green Valley, AZ; mother, Dorothy of Dickinson.


He was preceded in death by his father, Laudie J. Kudrna.
