Terry Myran

Funeral services for Terry Myran, 43, of Taylor, will be 3:00 p. m. Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Taylor Lutheran Church, Taylor, ND, with Pastor Bob Wittstruck officiating. Burial will take place at the Ridgway cemetery at a later date. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. at the funeral home and will continue from 1:00 p. m. to 3:00 p. m. at the Taylor Lutheran Church. Terry John Myran, 43 passed from this life on July 6, 2011. Terry was born on July 30, 1967 to Henry Thomas and Doris Ellen (Hartung) Myran. He loved growing up on the family farm north of Taylor and spoke often of playing with his army men and trucks in ?the tree patch?. A country boy at heart, he always dreamed of living in the country again someday. He attended school in the Taylor-Richardton area and graduated from Richardton-Taylor High School in 1987. Shortly after graduation, he was married briefly to Jami Kautzmann and together they produced a lovely little girl, Alexandra Margaret. He attended UND-Williston?s diesel tech program. Terry married Tricia Newton on January 29, 1993 in Belfield, ND. This union brought forth two more children, Thomas and Jennifer along with eighteen years of memories. His trucking career began in his teens when he worked with his father on the family farm. He held various trucking jobs over the years, but his passion to be a law enforcement officer came to fruition in 2000. He held various positions in law enforcement, always staying true to the motto ?to protect and serve. ? Another outlet for his caring spirit was working with the Richardton-Taylor ambulance as an EMT-Basic. Terry loved being around people, and especially enjoyed making people laugh. His smile lit up the room and he touched many lives with his presence. He loved spending time with his kids and loved to drive and listen to country music. Terry is survived by Tricia, his three children Alexandra (Laurel, MT), Thomas and Jennifer of Hebron. He was blessed with one grandchild, Kayden Deegan Cox of Laurel, MT; two brothers: David (Jan) of Dickinson, ND; Larry (LauraLee) of Glendive, MT; three sisters; Judy Myran, Taylor, ND; Barb Bloom, Billings, MT; and Shirley (Bernard) Pesak, Alvin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Michael Terry John, his nephew Mark Bloom and his brother-in-law, Max Bloom.
