Terry Stroud

A Memorial Service for Terry David Stroud, 70, of Minco, OK, formerly of Glendive and Baker, MT will be 11:00 a. m. , Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Father Tobin celebrating. Burial will follow in Bonnievale cemeteryTerry passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Terry was born on August 22, 1943 in Binger, OK, the son of Jeff and Bernice (Metcalf) Stroud. He grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Minco High School in 1961. He married Betty Howe on April 1, 1966. Together they had two children, Brandon and Hally. Terry had many jobs during his lifetime. He worked for Oil Well Perforators for over ten years and then became part owner in Dyna Jet. Terry loved spending time outdoors – camping, fishing, golfing, taking care of his animals, and playing with his grandkids. Terry is survived by his daughter, Hally (Deryk) Steinert of Anaconda, MT; grandchildren, Braden (Nikki) Stroud of TN, Bailey Steinert of SC, and Brydger Steinert of MT;one great-granddaughter, Mikah Stroud of TN;brother, Donald Stroud of OK;sister, Wanda Mosier of OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Bernice Stroud; brother, Dale Stroud; sister, Anita Stroud, and son, Brandon Stroud. .
