Themla Berg

Thelma Arline Berg, 90, went to be with our Lord on January 21, 2015 at the Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT. She was a resident of Fallon Medical Nursing home. Thelma was cremated and a memorial service will be held in late spring of 2015 at the family plot in Ekalaka, MT. Thelma was born June 5, 1924 to Carter and Violet (Pierce) Elmore in Ekalaka, MT. There she grew up and attended school with her two brothers. Thelma was married to Richard H. Atkinson on June 30, 1941. To this union seven children were born: Gayle A. , Linda L. , Myrna L. , Myra D, Richard C. , Debra L. and Diana D. Thelma was married to Lyle E Berg in 1963 and they moved to Oregon, where they operated several car dealerships. They moved to Caldwell, Idaho where they started another dealership and there they retired. After Lyle’s death, Thelma moved to Baker to be close to some of her children and grandchildren. Thelma is survived by her six children, Gayle A. (John) Morris, Linda L. (Vernon) Boggs, Myrna L. (Jack) Recer, Myra D. Atkinson, Richard C. (Cheryl) Atkinson, Debra L. (Randy) Pool, Diana D (Curt) Renner; brother, Denver (Elenor) Elmore, sister-in-law, Bertie Elmore; son-in-law, Randy Pool; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; seven step-children; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was proud to have so many to call family, she loved us all. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; brother, Dewey Elmore; daughter, Myra Atkinson; great-granddaughter, Harper L. Griffith; sons-in-law, John Morris, Vernon Boggs, Jack Recer, Curt Renner, and granddaughter-in-law, Shawna (Conrad) Pool.
