Thomas Anheluk

Parastas for Thomas Anheluk, 51, of Bend, Ore. formerly of Belfield, ND will be10 a. m. Friday, March 16, 2007, at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Belfield with Fr. Taras Miles celebrating. Inurnment will follow in St. Josephat?s Cemetery rural Belfield. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Leonard Kordonowy at 9:30 a. m. on Friday at the church. Tom passed away Tuesday March 6, 2007 in Bend, Ore. Thomas Roy Anheluk was born September 4, 1955 in Dickinson to August and Ann (Krush) Anheluk. He grew up on the farm near Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School in 1973. Tom attended Dickinson State University and California State University-Domingus Hills, earning a Bachelors of Arts degree. He worked in the oil fields in North Dakota before moving out to Oregon where he worked for the forest service in fire and hydrology. He married Lisa Petruss on September 29, 1989. From this union they had two children Riley and Tatum. He enjoyed working in the woods and being around family and friends. He took great comfort in his faith and valued prayer time with his children. Tom is survived by: Lisa, and his two children, Riley and Tatum, Bend Ore. ; his mother, Ann Anheluk, Belfield, ND; brother, Jerry (Jackie) Anheluk, Belfield, ND; sister, Karen Prussing, Bismarck, ND and six nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by: his father, August and two brothers, Myron and Les Anheluk.
