Tillie passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Friendship Villa in Miles City, MT. Tillie Leno was born on January 14, 1914, a daughter of Jacob and Mary (Fundrick) Leno at Arena in Kidder County ND. Tillie grew up on her father?s farm south of Tuttle, ND. When Tillie was two years old, her mother died following complications during the birth of her younger sister. Following her mother?s death, her father remarried and she would eventually be the oldest of fourteen children. Tillie was a hard worker on the farm; she helped care for her younger siblings as well as working in the fields with a team of horses. After her 18th birthday, Tillie?s father approved of her engagement to Edward Quincer. The two were married in her father?s home on June 22, 1933 at Tuttle. Following their marriage, Tillie accompanied Edward back to the ?Quincer Manson? southwest of Plevna, MT. To Tillie?s surprise, the ?Manson? turned out to be a homesteader?s shack! Tillie and Edward were blessed with two children, Leonard Edward and Lorraine Tillie. After their children had grown up, Tillie and Edward sold the farm and moved into Plevna. Following the death of Edward on January 8, 1977, Tillie continued to make Plevna her home until 1999 when she moved to Miles City. Tillie was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church in Plevna. She made several Alter Scarves and was very involved in the Ladies Aid. Tillie was also active in the Plevna Senior Citizens. In her spare time she liked to crochet and made many quilts for her family. Tillie loved to entertain people and was a wonderful cook and had a lot of love for her family and friends. Tillie is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Shackelford Tveit, Sidney, MT; three brothers, Jacob Leno, Willie Leno and Art Leno; one sister, Frieda Jockim; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, her son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Thelma Quincer, her son-in-law, Joseph Shackelford, 5 brothers, Albert Leno, Harold Leno, Adam Leno, Leo Leno and Edwin Leno and her 2 sisters, Lizzie Krein and Clara Krein
