Todd passed away Sunday July 23rd, 2023, at his home in Dickinson, ND.

Todd Michael Gonser was born March 18th, 1969, in Lansing, Michigan to Harold and Ruth Gonser (Franz). In 1971 the family moved to San Bernardino, CA. After graduating High School, Todd enlisted into the United Stated Air Force, “wanting to see the world.” When Todd completed basic training, he was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, SD. Upon arrival and walking off the plane, Todd said, “Where the F*** did they just send me?” and he soon found his love for the Dakota’s and never wanted to leave.

On June 20th, 1992, Todd married Tiffany Conrad and to that union, Devin Michael was born in 1994 and Dylan James in 1998.

Todd was a Dallas Cowboys football fan and tells the story about how when watching a Cowboys vs. Packers game he was cheering for the Cowboys and Devin chose to root for the Packers. He enjoyed the rivalry between them over a football game. They would also watch NASCAR together even though they had a rivalry there as well, the bickering was all in good fun.

Todd’s house shows the love of Dylan’s artwork and he enjoyed going to his art shows, watching his band concerts and gymnastics. Todd was immensely proud of his sons and bragged about them often.

On December 19th, 2003, Todd married his forever love Jennifer Cummins. Together the couple joined forces and combined their families. They never missed a viewing of the new Star Wars again.

Todd became a dad to KaTrina Lynn and Dylen Lee. KaTrina was his “little princess.” She was the only girl and was daddy’s girl from first sight. He loved watching her do Special Olympics. Todd and KaTrina would always pick on each other and that was something you did not want to miss. Todd asked KaTrina to wash his pickup and she told him to put it outside because it's raining.

Dylen Lee was a replica of Todd. He wanted to do anything Todd did and he to become a Cowboys fan and they both enjoyed the time they spent watching NASCAR races. When Dylen Lee passed away in 2016, Todd made it his mission to help people that were experiencing loss. He helped at Angel 37, gave rides to people in need and loved helping Jenn with her crazy ideas on how she would save the world and he would help her in anyway he could. He was the hugest supporter of opening Dylen’s Crossing and made sure Jenn had whatever she needed to make it all a reality and then some.

After the kids were out of the house, Todd told the kids to never come over unannounced because he might be chasing Jenn around naked. This was the humorous side of Todd that everyone will deeply miss.

Todd was a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan, Dallas Cowboys fan and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. He enjoyed watching nightly shows with Jenn, attending Christian Concerts and driving around town with his dogs. Todd always looked forward to the summertime and the few weeks he would get to spend with his grandsons Yetziel and Darian.
