Memorial service for Reverend Charles Thomas ?Tom? Allan, 56, of Denton, TX, formerly of Dickinson, ND will be 10:30 a. m. Monday, July 16, 2007 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Dickinson with Pastor Steven Tangen officiating. Burial will follow at Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 8:00 a. m. to 10:00 a. m. Monday, July16, 2007 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Tom passed away July 8, 2007 in Texas after a short battle with cancer. Charles Thomas Allan was born July 7, 1951 to Robert Vincent and Mavis (Weekes) Allan. in Bismarck, ND. Tom grew up in Dickinson, attending grade school and graduating from Dickinson High School in 1969. Tom was ordained in 1977 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, ND. He served the Lord at Christ Lutheran in Wichita, KS. North Texas State University in Denton; Community of Hope Lutheran Dallas; and was currently at New Hope Lutheran Church in Keller. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Vincent Allan. Survivors: Mother, Marvis Allan; brother, Bob Allan and wife, Paulette; and nephew, Trent Allan and wife, Dana.
