Anton ?Tony? Perzinski, 81, of South Heart passed away Saturday, May 10, 2003, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born September 5, 1921 on the family farm southeast of South Heart to George and Anna Perzinski. He grew up and attended school at South Heart. Tony served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to South Heart to work with his father on the family farm. On June 27, 1946, Tony was married to the love of his life, Eugenia ?Ida? Herauf at St. Pius Church in Schefield, ND. They took over the family farm and raised their six children there. Tony had a great love for his family and farming. He liked going into South Heart to meet with his friends and visiting. His hobbies included taxidermy, woodworking, fishing, hunting, trapping, playing cards and telling jokes. Animals had a special place in his heart. Tony will be greatly missed by his family and for all his laughs, love and joy of teaching of his hobbies to all of his children, grandchildren and playing with his young great-grandchildrenSurvivors include his wife, Ida of South Heart; three sons: Arnold (Margaret) Perzinski, Palisade, CO, Clyde (Sandee) Perzinski and James Perzinski, South Heart; three daughters: Karen (Kenneth) Kuntz, Williston, Carla (Harlan) Jirges, Glendive, MT, Antoinette (Kevin) Staiger, Hebron; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six sisters: Eva (Paul) Dvorak, Terri (George) Little, Mary Shaw, Catherine Pirkl, Vicki Twardoski, and Susie Harris; one brother, Bill;. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna Perzinski; four brothers: Joe, John, Mike & Pete Perzinski; four sisters: Dorothy Gagliardy, Betty Vetter and two infant sisters at birth.
