Funeral Mass for Tony I. Rambousek, 81, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a. m. Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Jeff Zwack Celebrating. Military Rites will be presented by the Dickinson Honor Guard. Burial will take place 11:00 a. m. CST, Friday, December 17, 2010 at North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Tony Passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at his home in Dickinson after a short illness. Tony was born on April 4, 1929 in Stark County the son of Anton and Mary (Luptak) Rambousek. Tony grew up and attended country school through the 8th grade. He enlisted in the US Army and served until being honorably discharged. Tony returned home to the family farm where he worked with his parents. He met Edith Kubas and they were married on May 1, 1950. To this union Norma, Merle, LeeAnn and Loren were born. Tony and Edith raised their family and farmed and ranched in Billings County north of Belfield. Tony retired in 1990. They moved into Dickinson where they have made their home since. He enjoyed coin collecting, hunting, collecting arrow heads, fishing, trapping and antiques. He especially enjoyed going to auction sales, playing cards, dancing and listening to old time music. His love was always for his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tony was very meticulous in keeping all his things organized. He was a member of St. Pius Verein, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, past member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the German Hungarian Club. Survivors include his wife, Edith of Dickinson; two sons, Merle (Cindy) Rambousek, Dickinson, ND and Loren (Marlease) Rambousek, Dickinson, ND; two daughters, Norma (Don) Wehri, Glen Ullin, ND and LeeAnn (Gene) Koppinger, Baker, MT; two brothers, Henry (Gladys) Rambousek, South Heart, ND and Andrew Rambousek, Dickinson, ND; five sisters: Georgian Steffan, Martha Marsh, Victoria (Louis) Sadowsky and Margie Jilek all of Dickinson, ND and Shirley Ann Dahmus, Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Charlie; four sisters: Dorothy Ridl, Mary Ann Praus, Eleanor Marsh and an infant sister, Edith; and seven brothers-in-law: Andrew Ridl, Tony Jilek, Paul Dahmus, John Praus, Charles Marsh, Sylvin Steffan and George Marsh.
