Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial for Victoria A. Dutchuk, 85, of Dickinson, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. John’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Belfield with Father Yurii Sas celebrating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Visitation for Victoria will be 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28th at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary and Panakhyda service being held at 7:00 p.m.
Victoria passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.
Victoria was born November 28, 1931 in Billings County, the daughter of Frank and Amelia (Paluck) Makowski. Growing up, she attended school in Belfield and graduated from the eighth grade. Victoria married Paul Dutchuk on October 18, 1949 at St. Josephat’s Catholic Church in Gorham. To this union, five children were born. Victoria was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed watching “EWTN”, comedies, and “Big Joe Polka Show”. In her younger days, she was an avid solitaire player. Victoria also liked to grow garden produce. She loved listening to Country, Ukrainian and Polka music.
Victoria is survived by her sons, Daniel of Dickinson, and James of South Heart; daughters, Diane (Ken) Riedl of Belgrade, MT, Kathy Dutchuk of Dickinson, Sharon (Tim) Fuchs of Blue Earth, MN; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Leonard (Dorothy) Makowski, Frances Gawryluk and Dorothy (Fred) Heiser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul (1998); one unborn child; one brother-in-law, John Gawryluk and various aunts and uncles.
