Funeral services for Victoria “Vicky” Zeller, 93, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2007 at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Dennis Schafer celebrating. Interment will follow at Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 20007 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Victoria passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson. Victoria ?Vicky? Zeller was born October 16, 1913 to Frank and Agnes (Hanel) Kubas on the family farm in Dunn County. She grew up and attended country schools in the New Hradec area. Being the eldest of 14, she helped in raising her siblings as well as working of the farm. On October of 1935 Vicky married Ras Schwindt to this union a son, Raymond was born. They made their home on a farm south of Belfield, ND before moving to Sidney, MT. Vicky and son Ray later moved to the Killdeer area before moving to Dickinson. It was here that Vicky met Richard Zeller and the two were married on April 25, 1948 in Wibaux, MT. Together they continued to live in Dickinson and to this union a son, Ronald was born. Vicky worked as a house maid for various families in the Dickinson area for forty years. Vicky loved going to auctions and rummage sales. She enjoyed her gardens and flowers, crocheting and making Choke Cherry juice. She also liked to socialize and visit with friends and relatives. She was a very sharp individual and others looked to her for help and guidance over the years. She was successful in obtaining her drivers license at the age of 61 and enjoyed her freedom on the road for the next 27 years. We are all very blessed that Vicky?s memory remained sharp till the end. Vicky is survived by two sons: Raymond R. Schwindt, Gillette, WY. Ronald R.( Jenny) Zeller, Dickinson, ND. Four grandchildren: Dennis( Dawn) Schwindt, Gillette, WY; Jesse Zeller, Dickinson, ND.; Ryan( Jamie) Zeller, Dickinson, ND.; Laura( Mark) Erdman, Dickinson, ND., Four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; three brothers, John (Maggie) Kubas of Yakima, WA; Tom (Chris) Kubas of Spokane, WA; Emil (Kathy) Kubas of Spokane, WA; four sisters, Marha (Charles) Rounseille of Dickinson, ND; Mary (Linus) Wanner of Dickinson, ND; Irene (Bill) Kohler of Dickinson, ND; Angie (Loreg) Swenson of NewPort, WA. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband Richard; Ras Schwindt; a Daughter-in-law, Rahna Schwindt; a grandchild, Deborah D. Schwindt; two brothers Charles and Laudie Kubas; four sisters, Mildred Heiser; Agnes Schwindt; Dorothy Meduna and Hattie Tuhy.
