Viola Richardson
A funeral service for Viola Richardson, 87, of Hebron, will be 10:00 a.m. CDT, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at St. John Church, Hebron, with Pastor Gaylund Olson officiating. Burial will take place in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Visitation for Viola will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, April 17
th
at St. John Church with a prayer service taking place at 6:00 p.m. CDT. Visitation will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
Viola passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sanford Health in Bismarck.
Viola M. Lunde Richardson was born January 15, 1931 to Carl and Ellen Lunde in Rural Rolette County, ND. She graduated from Lansford High School and married Orville R. Richardson on October 9, 1949. After their wedding, she and Orville lived in Mohall and Wimbledon, and settled in Hebron where they moved in May of 1954. She worked for the Security Bank of Hebron/Dakota Community Bank from 1966 to 1993. She was a member of St. John’s UCC Church in Hebron, American Legion Auxiliary, Hebron Senior Citizens and Bridge Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy (John) Doubek, Martin, ND; three sons , Mike (Karin) Richardson, Arvada CO, Kerry (Brenda) Richardson, Hebron, ND and Mark (Suzette) Richardson, Bismarck ND; grandsons, Johnny Doubek and Brian Richardson; granddaughters, Krista Doubek, Jennifer (Lyn) Narum, Jessica Richardson (Dylan Hardin), Kelli (Allen) Hoogers, Stacey Richardson, Sandra Richardson, Nicole (Mac) Hoerner, and Jodi (David) Leier; three great granddaughters, Kyra Narum, Nella Hoogers and Madison Hoerner; three great grandsons, Jaxon Narum, Connor Hoogers, and Stetson Hardin; one brother, Wayne Lunde of Franklin Wisconsin; sister, Cora Hurdelbrink of Devils Lake ND; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Richardson; parents Carl and Ellen Lunde; brother, Howard Lunde; sister, Della Nelson and sister-in-law Linda Lunde.
