Funeral Services for Virginia Ellingson Felt, 77, of Baker, MT will be at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, August 30, 2008, in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with Pastor Sheldon Sorenson officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonnivale Cemetery at Baker, MT. Visitation will be 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. on Friday, August 29th, at Stevenson Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. Virginia passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT. Virginia Alice Felt was born November 15, 1930 in Leal, ND to John and Larene (Burke) Willson. She grew up and attended school in Leal. Virginia married Robert Lee Ellingson on October 3, 1946. In their early marriage, they lived in several small towns in Montana as Bob worked for the Milwaukee Railroad, moving to Plevna in 1948. Their three children were born and raised while they lived in Plevna and Baker. Virginia worked as a cook for the Plevna Schools. They were active members of Peace Lutheran Church where she served as Sunday school teacher, choir director, and organist. The Ellingsons moved to Baker in 1968 where Virginia worked several years at Russell?s Clothing. She worked for MDU and WBI for 20 years, retiring in 1995. Robert died in 1983. Virginia married Iven Felt on March 19, 1988. They were blessed with 20 wonderful years together. Virginia was a faithful member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Virginia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved music, baking, and sewing. Virginia is survived by her husband, Iven of Baker, MT, three children: Doug (Diane) Ellingson of Miles City, MT, Marcia (Verne) Hecker of Wolf Creek, MT, and Donna (Mike) Madler of Glendive, MT; step-children: Raney (Sandy) Felt of Phoenix, AZ, Mardonna (Terry) Hulm of New Underwood, SD, Anita Berland of Jamestown, ND, Denise (Pat) Flynn of Ponce de Leon, FL and Jason (Omaira) Felt of Tulsa, OK; 17 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Kay (Bill) Grager of Bonney Lake, WA, her brother, Ken (Marlys) Willson of Litchville, ND and a brother-in-law, Ernie Pile of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert, brother Darrell Willson and sister Dorothy Pile. Virginia will be remembered forever for her faith in God and love of family. Her strength and courage was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. Virginia?s wish is for everyone to love the Lord Thy God with all their heart, mind and soul. Thank you, God, for Virginia.
