Wade Forgy, 91, Killdeer, North Dakota and long time resident of Lewistown, Montanta, a retired saw mill superintendant, passed away Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 at his home in Killdeer, North Dakota. Visitation: Wednesday, December 26th, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Cloyd?s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral: Thursday, December 27th, 11:00 A.M.: at Cloyd?s Funeral Home Chapel, Lewistown, Montana. Burial: Lewistown City Cemetery. Wade was born October, 16th, 1916, near Dierks, Howard County, Arkansas, the son of Lilian and Molly (Simms) Forgy. He received the majority of his formal education at both the Oak Hill School and the Crossroads School outside Dierks, Arkansas. Shortly after he moved to Saginaw, Texas where he lived with his beloved Uncle Herbert Forgy. He then moved to California where he found his main occupation of saw mill work. He worked in various saw mills in several states including California, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. He married Imogene Billings in Susanville, California in 1947 and had six children together. Wade enjoyed being a member of the Fraternal Order of Odd Fellows, fishing, taking drives to look at the country side, music and singing christian songs, playing dominos, watching football, working in his shop and life in general. He very much enjoyed the company of his beloved cat “Charlie”. He was especially happy when he could visit with friends and family and always got a big chuckle out of telling his lifetime stories. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Molly (Simms) Forgy; four sisters, Ruth (Arthur) Hill, Mary (Harvey) Trussell, Tulsa ?Mickey? (Charles) Lovell, and ?Twin Sister? Ophelia (Carl) Mounce. One Brother, Arlin (Hazel) Forgy; former wife, Imogene Billings Hazen; one son, Blair Duane Forgy; one daughter, Debby Leah Perterschick. Wade is survived by two daughters, Barbra Wiley of Las Vegas, NV, and Sharen (Harry) Moeller of Carlisle, PA; two sons, Brantley (Twila) Forgy of Killdeer, ND, and Barry (Lisa) Forgy of Lewistown, MT; twelve grandchildren, Angie and Donny – Debbie and Stanley ? Brian ? Barry, Brock and Cassia – Skyler and Zach – Eva Gene – Blair Jr.; eight great grand children; many special nieces and nephews.
