Will passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Will was born on January 5, 1965, the son of Harlie and Mary Jane (Koogler) Teigen at Ekalaka, MT. He grew up and attended country school in Capitol and later Buffalo, SD, graduating from the Harding County High School in 1983. Will also attended Heavy Machinery Trade School in Cheyenne, WY. He was married to Bridget Lermeny on October 5, 1984 in Buffalo, SD. They moved to the Teigen ranch at Capitol, MT. Along with ranching, Will worked at the Sky Ranch as a night counselor for several years. His drive to stay active took him to the oilfields where he worked as a roughneck for several years. In 1987, the family moved to Reva, SD where he ranched with the Lermeny family. A highlight of one summer was when the family moved to Alaska where Will worked as a commercial fisherman, fishing for king salmon. Upon returning to Buffalo, Will worked for Harding County on the highway maintenance. In 1995 they moved to the Crow Buttes area to ranch again with the Lermeny family. This past summer, Will had been working for his brother?s fencing company and for Harding County. Will enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, trapping and cooking in a Dutch Oven for his kids and family. He enjoyed pulling pranks and telling jokes to anyone who would listen. Will especially loved and cherished his children and his family. Survivors include: three daughters, Codi, Kayla and Anna; a son, Mason all of the family home in Buffalo, SD; his wife, Bridget, Buffalo; his mother, Jane Teigen, Capitol, MT; three brothers, Ivan (Mary) Teigen, Capitol, Nate (Karen) Teigen, Buffalo and Matt (Tracy) Teigen, Camp Crook; a half brother, Shaine Odell, Camp Crook; a sister, Marilyn (Jedd) Parfrey, Buffalo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harlie in 1998.
