William "Bill" Nelson

William “Bill” Bryce Nelson, of Baker, MT and Apache Jct., AZ passed away on November 9, 2023 in Deming, NM.

William Bryce Nelson was born June 12, 1957 in Baker, MT to Chris and Betty (Janssen) Nelson. He joined his brother Bob, sisters Cristy and Lori and later joining the family was Mike. He went to school and graduated from Baker High School in 1975. After graduating he worked for A-Frame Lumber and then went to work for various oilfield companies. Later he and Dora managed Bowman Hailey Marina and then took to traveling to various jobs in Florida and Texas. He made his home in Apache Jct. for the last few years. Bill always had a fishing pole and was ready to try a new fishing spot on his travels.

Bill is survived by brothers, Bob (Selena) Nelson of Baker, Mike (Pam) Nelson of Baker; sister, Lori Hall of Billings, MT; several nieces and nephews; longtime friend, Dora Garcia-Leyba.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Betty Nelson; sister, Christy Johnson; brother-in-law, David Hall.
