Funeral Services for William ?Buster? Fischer, 67, of Killdeer, ND will be 10:00 a. m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer, ND with Pastor Joel Sauerwein officiating. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 a. m. to 10:00 a. m. Buster passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Hilltop Home of Comfort, Killdeer, ND. William George ?Buster? Fischer was born October 26, 1942 to Raymond Rex and Helen M. (Plagge) Fischer in Vancouver, WA. In 1945 Buster moved with his family to North Dakota and settled in the Killdeer area. He grew up here and attended school in Killdeer. He later served in the Marines for a few years. After his time in the military, Buster worked through out the western United States and Alaska at various jobs and occupations. Some of these included: construction, demolition, laying pipeline, laying cable, oil rig hand, and commercial fisherman. Buster was known for always being ?on the go? until his health no longer allowed him to do so. He has lived the last 30 years in Killdeer, most of which has been spent at Hilltop Home of Comfort. Buster enjoyed fishing, working on computers and gardening. He loved to sing or listen to music when ever he could. He was also a fan of playing cards and various other board games. He is survived by his Mother Helen, Killdeer; sons, Robert Fischer, Cleburne, TX; Bill (Nicole) Fischer, Anchorage, AK; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Davis, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Georgia and Marshal; brother, Roger (Sherry) Fischer, Chinook, MT; sisters, Sharon Towberman, Glendive, MT; Lorna (Burton) Brown, Keene, ND; Mary (Wally) Kowis, Killdeer, ND; Patsy (Marlin) Brown Keene, ND; Kaylene (Jim) Reddig, Minot, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond; sister Lynette Fischer and brother-in-law, Melvin Towberman.
