Service of Sharing for William “Billy” Sandoval, 44, of Hebron, ND, will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. CDT at Spangelo-Stevenson Funeral Home in Hebron, ND with a graveside service to follow at Hebron Congregational Cemetery.
Tribute, Social, and Celebration of Life will begin in accordance with the family after the graveside service.
William “Billy” Sandoval passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 while on vacation in Virginia visiting friends he called family.
Billy was born on February 25, 1967 in the Los Angeles, CA area to the late Karen (Scheuffele) Sandoval. When he was two years old, his mother moved them to her hometown of Hebron, ND to be nearer to family. Billy grew up, attending school in Hebron, cared for by and caring for his mother and grandmother, the late Martha (Staiger) Scheuffele. As a young man, he left Hebron and over the years lived and worked in various places such as San Diego, CA, where he loved the sunny days at the beach; Dickinson, ND where he loved being part of a local rock band called Prezens; Minneapolis, MN, where he loved his job working on a demolition crew; back to Dickinson, where he worked various oilfield and construction jobs until March of 2010 when he returned to his home in Hebron to be with and care for his mother at the time of her passing. He resided in Hebron and worked at the Hebron Brick Co. at the time of his own passing. But of all the jobs he ever had, his favorite was that of lending a helping hand and his kind heart to others, and of all the places he lived, his favorite was in the hearts of the people he touched and who touched him over his years! Billy loved hard work and playful activities outdoors in the warm sunshine and gazing the star filled skies by night. He loved children and animals, taking pictures, riding his unicycle, playing pool, listening and dancing to rock music, holidays, partying and having fun. Most of all, he loved his beloved mother and grandmother, the many friends he’d made through the years, and his fond, precious, and cherished memories of them, and all the good times! He is deeply loved and deeply missed.
