To the Family, I want to express how sorry to read about your loss. Losing a family member can be very painful. When I lost my father, I found comfort in what the Bible teaches. I fully believe, as the Bible teaches, that God will restore paradisaic conditions to our earth and that he yearns to bring back to life on earth those who have died—including our family members. (Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28, 29) We can look forward to the day when we will hold and embrace them again. Every time we hear the word “paradise,” that hope warms our hearts! In the meantime, we can take comfort in the fact that they are in God’s memory. I hope the same thoughts may bring your family comfort in dealing with your loss.

To the family of Joey Mueller: I was saddened to learn of Joey’s passing and wish all of you the deepest of condolences. Joey and I became friends during our high school years at Trinity High School. And while I haven’t spoken with Joey in approximately 25 years, the memories I have of him, along with our entire group of friends, seem like yesterday. I remember Joey to be fun loving, the life of the party and a great guy. Joey introduced me to bowling, the game of poker, beer games (like quarters) and classic rock – i.e. AC/DC and Def Leppard. And while Joey liked to play the role of class “goof” you knew, deep down, he was incredibly intelligent – so seeing him land a Wall Street job comes as no surprise. As I look back at my teenage years I’m thankful Joey was in my life and I will be forever grateful for the good times and laughs he gave me. May we meet again someday at a pub of your choosing. Cheers my friend! You and your spirit will be sincerely missed. Thomas Kennedy
